In Mexico City, the PILGRIMAGE TO THE BASILICA VIRGEN DE GUADALUPE is celebrated every year, one of the most important religious festivals in the whole country, an activity that takes place every December 12; Where thousands of spectators, devotees and followers are expected to attend the Blessed Mother, we will have a 5-day tour in which we will also have the possibility of performing other activities, such as City Tours, Museums, Teotihuacan Archaeological and optional, this Tour Is varied and complete so that they can enjoy the beautiful city of Mexico.

We will pick you up at the Airport and go to your selected hotel; At the appointed time and in coordination with the guide will be held in the afternoon the Tour of the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe wich is one of the most sacred sites among the faithful Catholics of Mexico City and all the country; where you will admire the religious image of the Patron of the American Continent.
Pickup from the Hotel at the appointed time and in coordination with the guide heading the archaeological site of Teotihuacan where we will visit a handicraft market to learn all about maguey`s uses para que aprendas sobre los usos del maguey and the Volcanic stone processing named obsidiana. Inside of Teotihuacán will enjoy the famous majestyc view of the moon`s pyramid , Quetzal-Papalot`s sacred temples And the Feathered Snails. You will also walk along the Calzada de los Muertos until you reach the Pyramid of the Sun, where you can climb up 200 steps and contemplate a spectacular panoramic view.
At the appointed time and in coordination with the guide we will visiting the anthropology museum. The national palace is visited in the zócalo to admire the murals of Diego Rivera in which the most important historical events took shape. We will see the ruins of what was the largest temple of the Aztecs and the metropolitan cathedral. Then we will take you to the historic chapultepec forest surrounded by residential areas like the hills; Where you will meet the residences of famous artists such as Dolores del Rio. After our visit the city ,the next destination will be the museum of anthropology and history where the guide will explain the main hall of the museum. Passengers have the option of staying at the museum or returning to the hotel on their own. (In case the national palace is closed we will try to rearrange the itinerary, changing the city tour during the morning. If it were not possible to visit in compensation at the discretion of the guide some of the following places. The monument of fine arts; Post office building (closed on Sundays); Monument to the horse; Bar la opera; House of the tiles; Church of san francisco; Plaza of santo domingo; Murals s.e.p .; Street filomena Mata. If traffic jam is not heavy , you will pass through the Roma colony and the Countess colony.
December 12 of every year is celebrated the day of the Virgin of Guadalupe, in honor of the image that has the most important Catholic tradition and with greater worship in Mexico. It is attributed on that date its appearance to San Juan Diego in the hill of Tepeyac in the year of 1531, site that is visited in its enclosure of the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the City of Mexico and in the temples and churches dedicated to Its worship throughout the country by millions of pilgrims and faithful. It represents one of the most significant traditional religious celebrations of the liturgical calendar of the region. It¨s a tradition that such pilgrimages not only include worshipers and organizers, but various dancers (the Dance of Matachines and the concheros), who lead the processions until arriving at the Basilica. One of the Mexican tradition is that the children who are born on that day are named Guadalupe, in honor of the Virgin.
